Jogging in the Rain
I just have to say that this has got to be one of the most fun and exhilirating things to experience. I started running at around 8:15 last night and all of a sudden there was a mini-rainstorm and it just started pouring like crazy.
So I had water dripping down my face, my clothes were drenched and my shoes were squishy inside from running in ankle-deep puddles. Needless to say that after a half hour of running, I was literally soaked from head to toe. And of course, people walking under their umbrellas were looking at me like I was insane. I loved it.
Because of all the cool rain, I didn't feel as hot and sweaty, making it easier to push myself (it's better than running under the sun in 30-degree heat, I'll tell you that). If you're a runner or jogger, this is something that I would most definitely recommend. Although, I suggest drying yourself off as quickly as possible when you're done to avoid catching pneumonia.
Happy running!

i know. this time of year the rain is lovely. all the people with their umbrellas are just missing out. i don't run, but i don't rush to get out of it...i prefer enjoying the water and the feeling of being wet outside, but not chilled. it rocks.
Sounds like a great time. Perhaps I'll try it sometime.
